"The rooms were clean and spacious . The only issue was limited parking my first night but I was able to secure parking space on subsequent days."

"When I entered the room, there was a very unpleasant smell, like a dead rat. I requested several times that the staff change my room, but they refused and said they were unable to do so. As a result, I could not sleep properly that night and had a sleepless, uncomfortable experience. The next morning, I contacted Expedia, and only after Expedia intervened did the hotel agree to change my room. This was extremely disappointing because the hotel ignored the customer’s direct request but responded only when pressure came from Expedia. Overall, it was a very awful experience and one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. But I am very happy about the Expedia help line."

"Great place. Will be back in a few weeks when we pick up our new puppy from near by. Seems strange not having anyone on site but works well in reality. Large rooms, lovely grounds, pet friendly and comfy beds. What more do you need. "

"Staff were very polite and friendly. Very clean and good location. Bed was very comfy and room had plenty of space. But…… decor, breakfast, exterior, road, games room all awful. No imagination or inspiration. Doesn’t need money just some thought and energy. Won’t stay again would rather pay £25 more for better quality. Worst of all our room absolutely stank weed and it certainly wasn’t us!!"
