"Gorgeous George was the best property we stayed in on our five week stay in Africa. The hotel is unique in presentation and design; the staff were extremely helpful; the room was made up early each day, and consistently; and the rooftop bar served excellent food and had a lovely atmosphere and unique decor. The hotel is located right in the centre of Cape Town near the markets. It's an oasis in the middle of the City and ideal if you wish to experience Cape Town proper, and take cheap Uber...

"This was an absolutely fantastic location for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our apartment was well appointed with a view of Table Mountain that can’t be beat. We were able to walk to many places during the day. We didn’t walk after dark, but getting an Uber in the evening was simple and inexpensive. We were very comfortable during our stay, and alternated between fixing our own breakfast in the room and eating at the excellent restaurant. Highly recommend this property!"

"Everything was great. 1. Mainly the daily maintenance and stuff behaviour was so good. 2. I reached around 12 pm and the check in time was 3 pm, I requested them for early check in and they immediately gave me one clean room, thanks for that. 3. There are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood, so it’s convenient. I have some suggestions for the house though: 1. One exhaust fan in the toilet will be helpful. 2. The bathroom door should close properly otherwise unwanted smell from bathroom...
