"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. The bathroom had no amenities, and while the towels were clean, they were quite worn and frayed. Overall, while the hospitality was warm, the accommodation itself felt just okay for me."

"The hotel is in a remote location up on a hill with a beautiful view looking back toward Cesena. Our room was very nice and bright with the shades open. The bat was vey clean and modern. We can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was. We ate dinner one night and the food was terrific. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We weren’t rushed and we were allowed to stay well past completion of our meal. The hotel staff made transportation arrangements for us as well as both lunch and dinner reservations at restaurants they recommended. We couldn’t have been more pleased with their suggestions. We highly recommend The Hotel Monty Banks."
