"If I could give ZERO stars I would. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. Every room reeks of cigarette smoke even though there’s signs everywhere threatening a 250$ smoke cleaning fee. Changed 2 rooms hoping to get a decent one to no avail. This is a disgusting place even for a motel. I booked based on the numerous positive reviews, THOSE LIED. "We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained.
