"Always stay here when attending spark arena as in good walking distance. But when returned from concert all the doors to get to the lift were locked so had to find stairs to be able to get back to our room! Should have a key swipe to get back in for the elevator. Not good if you struggle with stairs.
You also now have to pay a safety deposit which in all my years staying here have never had to do in the past so another thing to look out for"

"We had 1 one of those newly refurbished rooms. Contemporary decor and good color scheme. Loved those sensored night lights in both bedroom and bathroom. Curtains would draw automatically with just a tug. Very satisfied with stay this time as road construction was completed and also was given a refurbished room. Our 3rd stay at this property and we will be back."

"Pleasant stay at the hotel. Very clean & comfortable room. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. It’s our first time to NZ, & glad chose this hotel. Convenient location, free parking daily, bed was comfortable, they provided complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate packets, & best part was the they cleaned the room well everyday. Will definitely visit the hotel again. "

"Lovely hotel. The room was a bit small but well organized. Space is often an issue in city hotels. We enjoyed the amenities, the happy hour and the coffee maker in the room.
Staff was very pleasant. Location was very central with a huge variety of Asian cuisine. Our stay here was the last 2 days of our 22 day trip and we were happy to lay low and enjoy the quiet ambience. Plus we visited the cultural museum and art museum. . The cultural museum would be of interest to people heavily...
