"Fantastic friendly staff, great pools, complex is a bit old and tired but lovely grounds and amenities, and still a lovely hotel. Room servicing was good, turndown service was a bit hit and miss, laundry service was efficient, restaurant was quite good, shuttle was awesome and the drivers were exceptionally accomodating and helpful, golf was great, course is a little rough but the caddies were great. "Bayete Guest Lodge is a beautiful, peaceful guest lodge with a gracious, professional staff, lovely gardens and grounds, clean pool, and delicious food. The national park is about 3 km away. You will be dependent upon taxis unless you have driven your own car, but the drivers are very good to take you places and pick you up later after you have finished your activity. We highly recommend Bayete Guest Lodge!"

"Better than the photos. Beautiful lawned area with great variety of trees. Room very clean with air con, comfortable beds and huge shower room. Everyone so helpful. Liz the manager is very friendly and her chef and team excellent. Water, milk and tea provided on arrival. Fridge in room. We ate there every night. Good home cooked meals. Enjoyed pre dinner drinks at the bar. Breakfast menu great and cooked to order. Good security. We would return if ever in Bulawayo again."
