The traditional royokan rooms were an immersion in the traditional Japanese experience. However the absolute highlights were the authentic Japanese meals served by the most friendly and helpful staff. This stay could be the highlight of your trip."

"I had a wonderful stay with my young teenage daughter. It waas one of our most memorable experiences during our first visit to Japan. We loved our room - Asumi A Western Room with Open Air Bath and a view of the majestic Mt Fuji. The grounds were beautiful. Dinner was great and we loved dining in our room. Breakfast was ok. "イベント会場から近い所だったので、とても助かりました。 場所柄虫は多いのは仕方ないと思います。 殺虫剤も沢山あったのでよかったです。 後始末は誰がやるのか揉めがちでした。 それでも、洗濯機は使えたし、こどもはロフトが楽しかったし、お風呂は広いし、富士山見えるし、メリットの方が大きいと思いました。 イベントがなくてもまた訪ねると思います。"

"The owner and his wife were really lovely, and gave us a huge amount of information about local places to eat - as well as some excellent tips for our hike up Mount Fuji. The hostel is really nicely laid out, very clean, close to lots of food options (restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores) - and has an incredible view of Mount Fuji from the communal indoor and outdoor spaces. We really enjoyed our stay!!"
