Whitsunday Region Hotels with Swimming Pools

"Island’s workforce is mainly 20-somethings. Service was hit/miss, and they don’t know that details matter. It’s Reef hotel was clean(ish), checkin wasn’t quite smooth, some food/bev were happy, others weren’t approachable. Great location, food was fine, ample to do. "

"Nice and handy location to the beach bars and restaurants.Bungalow was comfortable and we had fresh towels etc each day."

"Fabulous 4 night trip to Hayman. Just the most beautiful scenery and grounds and a very friendly staff. We enjoyed the excursions snorkeling and seeing Whitehaven Beach. We initially had a lagoon room which we didn’t love so we upgraded to a second floor room overlooking the pool. They were very accommodating. Used the gym and ate at all the restaurants. We also enjoyed the great acoustic guitar player each night. "

"Spacious rooms and quiet location. Breakfast could have included more food options and food wasn’t always hot. Great front desk team. Having laundry facilities in the room was a real plus. A wonderful spot we would happily return to on another trip."

"Really terrible! I could ignore the previous guests towels hanging up drying on the porch, the shower not cleaned, but I couldn’t ignore that the bed had bedbugs!!! For the price of the room, I would expect a minimum of a clean bed, I could feel them crawling and biting me all night. I spoke with a staff member the next morning and they said they would investigate and call me back…of course no return call. I guess the next guest will have the same problem! I moved to Airlie Beach Hotel for a fraction more cost, but wonderfully clean and I had a great sleep! Definitely not returning!"
