"This is our second stay at the Westin and again the staff were fantastic, the swimming pools are great, the adults only pool is very relaxing and the feel of the resort is Fijian (not a concrete jungle like some other resorts).
We last visited the Westin 2 years ago when it was not a Marriott hotel. Some things have changed, including a hike up in prices of cocktails and beers. The restaurant is now Indian cuisine, bathrooms have been renovated and updated with a separate shower and bath, plus...

"The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with great views of the mountains and the sleeping giant. The hotel is close to the city center and only 10 minutes or so from the airport. However, be careful with the so-called official taxi-drivers. They refuse anyone with credit cards and will try to rob you blind if you ask to use foreign currency, quoting a rate at least twice as much as normal. The good news is that I found out there...
