West Bay Hotels with Air Conditioning

"Room was beautiful and the restaurant was outstanding. No fighting for seats on the beach or at the restaurant. Beach chairs were extremely comfortable and everything was well taken care of. Only comments include that the wifi did not work and the reception staff were not available. We were completely unsure how to check out. "

"While the distant ocean view was unobstructed, the beach view was non-existent. It’s a 4 minute walk across the street and through the community play area. This is a beautiful boutique hotel! Immaculately clean. The staff was top tier. Willie was our favorite pool-side waiter. We ate at all 4 restaurants. Very Good food! BE AWARE that this is a family friendly hotel. There were kids everywhere. The hot tub was so crowded with kids its was nearly impossible to use. At times, sitting by the pool was anything but relaxing. Kids were constantly yelling, screaming, carrying on, throwing footballs, slapping pool noodles on the water and making a ridiculous amount of noise. It felt like a Disney Cruise at times! The so called ‘private beach’ was disappointing! The lounge chairs were lined up so tightly they were almost on top of each other. Good luck getting a beach lounger where you can see the ocean. The front row at the shoreline is mainly reserved sun couches that you pay extra for. The private beach area is tucked in between the public beach and a sun/water toy rental on one side and a sail, sea and beach excursion sales hut on the other. The swim area was tiny and crowded! While we enjoyed our stay, I feel some adult only spaces should be available for the guests that are not traveling with their children. "

"Good parking, location, cafe, and access to the beach. Needs some smaller amenities included like beach towels or spare set of towels, bath mat, bath hooks, conditioner, lotion, ice machine, and paper towels would make it even better. "

"We LOVED staying here! Staff were all amazing and friendly. Rooms were spacious and updated. It was quiet and peaceful. So close to everything stores, food, airport. Loved using the amenities at the Westin as well. Everything was clean and well maintained."

"Nice new building but still under construction so no gym. Had issue with no water when we checked in so they upgraded us which was appreciated but then was confused about code and where we were staying. Communication was poor and didn’t follow through on one request for drip coffee maker and instead made it about which apartment we were in. Desperately needed several items-broom(for sand), pitcher, s&p and basic kitchen ingredients would have been helpful like most rentals I stay in. Location is about 15 minutes from Governors beach which has parking. Enjoyed sunsets and hot tub on roof-pool was too cold to swim. Appreciated other touches like linens, lotion, beach towels, laundry detergent and iron. "

"From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out, the entire staff was kind, courteous, friendly, real nice vibe. We needed a place to stay for a few days on Island as we were changing residence and can’t recommend the villas enough."
