Valverde Romantic Hotels

"This is a Three star resort with four star staff. The rooms are basic and dated but adequate. The food is good, Not great. The Italian restaurant is very good. The Chinese restaurant is very bad. There are only a total of three umbrellas around the two main pools. The beach is very nice. There are a Lot of smokers! You can escape them at the quiet pool by the spa which is a non smoking area. The gym is laughable. There's one workout bench with a decent assortment of dumbbells. One barely functional Elliptical machine and a broken Exercise Bike. The WiFi is very spotty with no coverage in most rooms. The signal seems to be strongest near the quiet pool. The resort is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. "

"Walls are thin. Bathroom is small. No hot water in the sink. No coffee or tea maker. When it rains floors are really slippery. No elevator. Entrance can be a little confusing. Staff is really nice. WiFi is good. Fridge works. Air conditioning works great. Amenities weren’t great. No tissues for nose."
