"Overall, the stay was just okay. The room and beds were comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues there. Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite disappointing. The scrambled eggs were consistently cold, and the pancakes/crepes seemed like pre-made frozen items that were simply reheated and served. There also wasn’t much variety in the breakfast selection. The location wasn’t ideal for us either. The hotel is in a fairly industrial part of Paris, and there isn’t much to do or see within walking distance. We also experienced some confusion with the front desk staff. Different employees seemed to provide different information. For example, we noticed another guest being charged a different amount for city taxes than we were. In our case, breakfast was included in our reservation, but we were still asked to pay for it at checkout and had to get it corrected. Nothing terrible, but a few frustrating experiences that made the stay less enjoyable than expected."
