"This is a lovely European style bed and breakfast run by lovely Agnes and her delightful husband. Clean and comfortable, with beautiful grounds in a picturesque high valley of the northern Catskills between Windham High Peak and Thomas Cole Montains. Our breakfast was delicious blueberry pancakes and great chats with the owner/operators and fellow guests. A great experience!"

"Hot tub could have been cleaner but all in all. Beautiful and amazing views! Great service with the front desk calls and extra towels provided no problem! "

"Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. She made a delicious hot breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and eggs how we like them served with tea, coffee or water. "I was upstate for work this weekend and had a lovely stay at Silas House. The owners were kind and helpful, and the space was beautifully designed and well appointed with everything I needed. I thought it was an extremely reasonable price for how beautiful and elevated it is. I hope to stay here again! "
