"This hotel is very tired. Check in was 3pm, yet many of the rooms were not ready until after 4pm. Other customers (Mainly overseas tourists) were given a drink voucher because their room wasn't ready, but we weren't or neither was another Kiwi guest. We eventually asked for one about 1/2 hour later & were given one. The bar area where people were waiting for their rooms wasn't big enough to accommodate everyone.

"We were just okay with it. Certainly needs some maintenance done more often. Very jaded. Lovely to have our room serviced. Clean towels etc.Was not expecting that.
Location quite good. No lake view which was disappointing. Price was realistic."

"We have happily stayed here many times in the past, However this time the beds were so hard we had no sleep. Asked to change units but told all beds replaced and were the same. We left a day early unable to do another night. Disappointed our weekend plans ruined.
Will never stay again"

"The staff were warmly & friendly. The location is quiet and restful with beautiful surroundings. Close to town & scenic river walks.
The hotel is very run down though. Creaky floors with thin walls. Shower was warm not hot. TV had great use of Apps to stream from my phone. Heat pump was lovely.
I enjoyed my stay for the price I paid."
