"It was my first time in Morocco and in Africa. I arrived late at night feeling very disoriented everything was so different that I even thought about flying back to Canada 😅. Thankfully, Yusuf at reception was incredibly reassuring. He saw I was panicking and told me to take the night to process everything, and he checked in on me. Siham, the manager, gave me helpful tips (like taxi prices) and made sure I was safely picked up from the airport to the riad in the medina. I did get overcharged by a guide which can happen as a tourist but Siham helped me recover the money. Yusuf, Hassan, and Abdel were all friendly and attentive. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and would book again just for the staff. As for the riad itself, the pictures reflect reality no hidden surprises. It was clean, and while I usually prefer modern white interiors, I wanted an authentic riad experience and this delivered. Breakfast was generous, and they easily accommodated my lactose intolerance and adjusted portions. Everything is tailored to your needs. Yusuf even packed me breakfast for my early departure If you’re considering booking this riad, I would recommend it. Just keep in mind that it is located in one of the oldest medinas, so manage your expectations it’s not Casablanca or Rabat. I hope this helps!"

"Location was central. Room were clean, comfortable and had amenities. Riad was beautiful. Breakfast was abundant. Parking is 5 min away for 40MAD for 24h. Close to the blue gate. Wifi was down while we were guests but otherwise, stay was comfortable. Front desk staff was very responsive and friendly. I would love to stay here again. "

"Hotel Sahrai was exceptional! A beautifully designed hotel for a great price! Rooms were beautiful and clean and bathroom beautifully designed and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, great pool, fantastic food! , check in with tea and pasties to the room were all special touches. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us- and let us checkout late since we had a late flight. The breakfast was delicious and bar was open late for drinks and music at Jungle- very fun! The food - Italian and moroccoan and Lebanese were all amazing! The pizza, foccacia, and sandwiches were more delicious than in NYC! prices for drinks and food were reasonable too. I would definitely stay again soon, I hope! Fantastic stay at great prices!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."
