"We spent four nights at the hotel before staying at a large, expensive all-inclusive resort. After the all-inclusive, we came back to Double A, which we preferred. We enjoyed the personal service, being steps from the beach and the swimming pool that was shaded by beautiful flowering trees. The breakfasts which were included were excellent. "Nice resort. Good food. Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. "This is an amazing property to stay in Zanzibar. We were upgraded to the frangipani villa which was spacious and well appointed. The private pool was great. The main swimming pool is huge and doesn’t get too crowded. The food options at the main dining room were good with a lot of vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. "Fantastic Stay at Tembo Hotel! We had an amazing experience at Tembo Hotel. The location is super central, the hotel is clean, stylish, and very well-maintained. Our room had an absolutely stunning view — it really made the stay extra special! A big shout-out to the staff: we checked out after midnight at 1 AM, and they arranged transport to the airport and even packed breakfast for us to take along. That level of service truly impressed us. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here...
