"Tolle Unterkunft in Mitten der Natur. Ein tolles Restaurant mit wirklich sehr gutem Essen und Personal. Die Zimmer (Zelte) sind sehr süß und bieten alles was man braucht. Man muss aber beachten, dass es kein Hotelzimmer ist, sondern ein Zelt. Es war ein schönes Abenteuer und wir konnten viel Energie tanken. "Our stay was incredible. Desmond, our guide, gave us some incredible sights and we were really lucky to see 4 out of the big 5 alongside various other interesting animals. The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there. "From the very first moment and the warm welcome this was an unforgettable experience. The lodges, the setting (even the amazing 28km gravel track to get in!), the staff & the food were first class. "The highlight of our holiday to South Africa! A beautiful lodge with comfortable air con and tranquility (and yes a few necessary spiders) but providing the most incredible authentic experience of the wildlife, animals, birds, flora and fauna of this game reserve. "Wir hatten die beste Zeit in Hillsnek! Es fühlt sich an wie eine kleine Familie und ist super besonders. Die Menschen dort sind einfach toll und geben alles damit man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist exzellent und abwechslungsreich und der ganze Tag ist gefüllt mit Highlights. Unser Guide Hanri hat das gesamte Erlebnis perfekt gemacht - er weiß so viel über die Natur, und die Tiere, das ist unglaublich! Wir sind so glücklich, dass wir diese Zeit erleben durften und der Abschied fiel uns...

"Lovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises. 10-15 min drive to Addo, not much in the local area. Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch."
