"We have just had a two-night stay here over the Bank Holiday weekend and couldn't fault it. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Our dog-friendly room was thoughtfully situated at the end of a corridor in a quiet area and was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy and breakfast choices plentiful. No problem parking either - always seemed to be plenty of spaces. Suited us very well for our short stay."

"Beautiful venue. A little dated now. Could do with new mattresses. Children running around the corridors at midnight from a birthday party was a problem. Called the night porter twice and nothing happened so had to deal with it myself."

Slight downside was our room was over the function suite, but the noise stopped by midnight, and we had a great nights sleep after. Plenty of choice for breakfast, and freshly prepared to order. Only 15 minutes to our gig in Stoke, but beautiful rural location, with pretty gardens to enjoy"
