"We had a great week of relaxation and low-key local tourism. The house was solidly built, clean and secure - could have had a few more utensils etc in the kitchen, but functional. We explored the area by local bus, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Trevor, our host, could not have been more helpful. The view, and sunrises, were splendid."

"The property was well kept and had everything we needed and then some. Carol Anne has thought of everything to make a guest stay pleasant, convenient and comfortable.
The garden and gazebo are beautifully kept and manicured. Perfect for a scrumptious breakfast setting, which we received !! A healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh local produce. Fresh bread, juices, tea and jam.

"I arrived in the town and a motorcyclist had been hit and was laying in the street motionless.. the entire town was standing around in the street. i had the place in my navigation and i could not even find it due to all the people blocking the driveways and streets. "The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "

"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."
