"Le personnel est particulièrement chaleureux, disponible, agréable et souriant. Presque tous parlent français et font l’effort de le parler. Buffet riche et varié, tout le monde y trouve son bonheur. Les chambres sont correctes et le ménage fait tous les jours. Seul bémol mais sans importance pour nous puisque nous ne recherchions pas ce critère, c’est l’animation. La plage est située à quelques mètres. Séjour très agréable."

"We had a nice sized interior room with good, working A/C. Family had another room w/balcony facing la Rambla. Their room was hot. A/C not working, was given a fan but still quite hot. Staff tried to be helpful but not really. For example, there was construction in the ROOM next door. Front desk said this was construction in the next building when, in fact, it was the ROOM next door. He said he would tell workers to be mindful esp during afternoon naptime hours. "The location of The Rialto is perfect for exploring the Gothic quarter and further afield. There are many shops, restaurants and placas close by. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the beautiful dining area was excellent. The only downside is the lack of hot drinks amenities. Nothing in the room or common lounge, just a vending machine. The air conditioning in the room worked well and there were windows that could be opened. "

She guided me on what to see and enjoy in Madrid. Solo travelling is not easy because you have to figure everything out yourself, but she was amazing.
