"Stayed in room 102. The hotel is a beautiful log cabin design with a lot of neat touches such as the carved bears in the staircases. The room is a nice size with a mini fridge that is only big enough for a couple drinks. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. A large variety of sweets, cereal, fresh bread and even eggs and bacon. Had no issues getting the code or opening the lockbox that held the key. Recommended. Close to Skogafoss and the amazing hike to Kvernufoss."

"Wonderful place to stay near selfoss. It was a great location for all the sites we planned to see in the golden circle. Breakfast at the restaurant that was included was excellent. Bonus hot tubs at night. Room was spacious and pretty. Best part was we saw northern lights! "

"I normally avoid hostels but I appreciated my stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds were made, loved the fact that luggage stays in the hallway because it limits the noise inside the rooms for those who are sleeping. Lockers are offered to keep your belongings safe. I was nervous about staying the night as when I first walked in, it was very loud with the amount of people by the reception desk. I could barely hear the receptionist talking to me when checking in. I was worried the noise would...
