"The property was clean, rooms nice, spa options if you choose and nice breakfast. Views are limited, and if the winds are wrong the nearby Blue lagoon (free shuttle service for guests) has a significant sulfur smell. The ambiance and staff do everything to make your stay welcoming."

I could hear my upstairs running jumping after 11pm. My next wall tv noise, other side wall talkg. At 1am +, i was awaken by noises chasing northern lights outside my windows."

"This is the stay of a lifetime (especially since it is connected to the neighboring Blue Lagoon)—and it reflects a corresponding price tag. Sticker shock aside, they have thought of every manner to pamper guests and make them feel at home (and willing to part with more cash in purchasing their various products). The staff are very well trained in the art of hospitality and will go out of their way to be of assistance. This may not be an every few year stay but it is certainly is worth a checking...
