"Nowhere online does it tell you this hotel is under construction the outdoor pool was closed down the lazy river was the only thing open the rooms are clean but it is not an up-to-date facility the hallway is or definitely a three out of five not a place I would want my kids to run around barefoot"

"Ive had a lot of bad experiences before and never left a review on anything until now. Stayed here two times before and it was great. The last time was horrible. I was locked out of the room multiple times. The door ended up dying twice on two different nights. It ended up being 6 total trips back to the lobby. The room was horrible. Dirty floors, the fridge/freezer kept freezing everything. One electrical outlet not even close to the bed that was available to plug stuff into. Random people...

"The location and amenities of the Sonesta Resort are excellent! You could honestly stay and have the beach, pools, watch turtles, rent bikes and more without ever leaving. Food choices were ok but better options not too far away even by bike. Beach access and very low cost chair, umbrella rentals for the beach. Pools were good size and seating was extremely comfy. Biking and walking trails were serene and safe, well thought out. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back. "

"Everything was wonderful we had a hair competition and it was right next door to our hotel.and the room was wonderful no problems..we needed extra towels and it took them no time to quicklyget us fresh ones .everything we needed was in one spot and was right on the beach It had in door pools..ice cream spot..arcades ..nail salon..restaurants...and even a convience store it had everything we love it"

"When I go to Myrtle Beach I will always stay at the Vista Resort everyone is very kind and helpful and the other families that are staying there are so nice! Very family oriented 🌴🐚🌞"

" Okay hotel Food not so good not alot selection For upcharge of resort fee didnt offer anything Umbrellas on beach had to rent so that wasnt good either, rooms not clean either especially bathtub, then kids were screaming up and down hallway Then check in we reserved kingbed they gavebus 2 queen bed No chairs available for pool, they had cabanas yeah 300!!:rental how about no cabanas and more pool seating!!"

"This property had free parking, clean heated pools, view and access to the beach, with beach chairs available for use. Someone was always cleaning and the hotel was kept clean. All staff were very helpful and easy to approach. Everyone was very nice from the moment we walked in. I would definitely stay again. "

"A place can be old but be a good place to stay. Not this one . Room wasn’t clean. Appliances needed replacing. Staff was friendly. They( midtown) was painting the place while I was there. But I don’t know if they were going to address anything else. You get what you pay for in some cases. "
