"My daughter and I were very unhappy with the fact that for two nights in a row, there were loud parties going on downstairs late at night. When my daughter called the first night, she was told that she could move her room. When I called the second night, the staff member told me that he would take care of it, but it did not quiet down until almost midnight."

"Checked in on Friday, and told that there was a half marathon on Sunday which meant we could not use the road from 7.30. That meant for us, really no point staying as would need to leave before that. So we checked out on Saturday - reception seemed to agree this was sensible and no other option. Then they would not agree refund - seems unreasonable to me."

"Grand building, but seems slightly dated and tired. The room was clean enough but had outdated furniture, TV etc. The WiFi was too slow and unstable to be usable, which coupled with the lack of phone signal was quite annoying. Breakfast was chaotic and not up to the standard we would've expected. Lots of guests waited for a long time for coffees, teas etc which didn't arrive. Most of the buffet was empty at middle of service. The spa was quite nice and had a decent pool and sauna....

"During a 5 night stay twice the cleaning team overlooked cleaning our room. Parking arrangement very good. Overall the cooked breakfast was not hot. The quantity of pre/cooked eggs was excessive for the speed that they were required, and looked unappealing. Perhaps the hotel could consider cooking the eggs to order"

"We booked two rooms for one night last week. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our specific needs for one person who is somewhat claustrophobic were taken seriously and several rooms options offered as available for them. The man at the desk on arrival, Hasan, was really helpful and understanding as was the lady on the desk the next morning and we had spoken to her by phone before we arrived too and received great service. There were areas which will soon need a bit of renovation but...
