"Location was great and room and bathroom spacious. Room was quite and had slept well. Good coffee and tea provisions with a kettle. Lift broken and had to manage 5 flight of stairs. Carpets on staircase very dirty. No mattress protector and mattress dirty on the corners. View from the window into a dirty courtyard with old building materials. Empty shower gel dispenser in the shower."

"Lovely hotel, convenient location and we got a free upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch from the hotel. I asked for a few personal touches to be added to the room as a surprise for my wife and the hotel accommodated this with no issue and even had it in the upgraded room ready. Great service"

"Rather slow and complicated check in process. This hotel requires a credit card holding payment of £30, which they claim is normal practice. Not something I've come across so don't agree, but compelled to do so. It would help if the card reader actually worked! Breakfast and room both adequate given the price."
