"Room reasonably clean, floor was dirty, no shower curtain, but a person from housekeeping came to install one. We did not have enough towels and asked the same housekeeper if she could bring a set, she said yes, but never brought any. In the morning we called the front desk and asked for a set of towels, we were told to come down to the desk and get thenm, later we saw the desk manager bringing towels to another guest room. Dishes were in the dishwasher."

"Unfortunately, this feels increasingly representative of the standard at Marriott properties nowadays. The room simply was not properly cleaned. There was visible dust in multiple areas, including spots where it was actually caked on. The soap dispenser in the shower was also completely empty. I had to contact the hotel to have it refilled, which is particularly annoying when you have already gotten into the shower before realizing there is no soap. It may seem like a trivial issue, but these...
