"The reception staff were extra-ordinary. Their friendliness, helpful attitude, and customer centered focus made this a delightful experience. One of the above staff members, Yadlia, really made this the Best of the Best stays in Katowice. Since I had a gate controlled outside parking space, she would open and close the gate when my car was at the gate. What service! The whole staff including the restaurant, housekeeping, and grounds employees were the most important part of making this hotel...

"Lovely brand new hotel - recently taken over by VOCO IHG chain. Breakfast was amazing with good choices. Transport links were easy. 1hr to get the train to Krakow. Get the AP bus also - airport to hotel area in around 40 mins and cost 7 zloty each. A cab on arrival was 258!! Lovely coffee machine and kettle in the room. We had a standard room which had a sofa. Very good deal. "

"We booked five rooms for eight nights at Hotel Szafran for our group of ten. We were very pleased with the rooms - plenty of space and quite comfortable and clean. Although there wasn't a/c in our rooms, the standing fans helped a lot. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect as there was a shopping center next door, and we could easily find supplies for our service project.
