"We were heading to Margaret River to follow our footy team and decided to make a long weekend of it and stay for a couple of nights. The weather was wet and very cold, but the Grande Escape turned out to be an excellent spot to stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, with very comfy beds. "Steve is a great host. He was quick to share lots of information and answered all our questions as first-timers to beautiful Margaret River country. The rooms and grounds are first-rate. Downtown shopping and restaurants are a short walk, but Edge of the Forest is really in the edge of the forest. We loved our stay and hope to return."

"Comfy small room, with good amenities for the price. Cute adjustable brightness lanterns, but the beds are long but also narrow (tall person) that makes it hard to feel like you're all on it widthwise. Baths are good but the towels are a bit small"
