"Jayden, Megan and Shawn were friendly and helpful and kind. The hotel is very very old but beautiful and the beds clean and comfortable. The hotel is right in the water so you fall asleep to water lapping at the walls. The hotel is also super convenient as it is right next to the main shopping street. Highly recommend"

"A lovely B&B. Excellent location in Lerwick. An abundance of all you can eat continental breakfast. Home made bakes available 24/7. Very helpful staff. Not the most modern decor but recommended. "

"It was our first time in Shetland and from the day we arrived the staff could not have done anything more for us they went over and above to help us with places to go things to see . "This Hotel offered excellent service, the room was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. We ate in the dining room for breakfast and dinner and both meals were of a high standard. We would definitely recommend to others to stay here if they came to the Shetlands and we would stay here again. "

"We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. "Beautiful views of crofts and the sea. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed especially comfortable with cotton sheets and cushy duvet. Teas and coffee were available. Breakfast absolutely delicious with the host preparing any level of breakfast need."
