Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa

"It was hard to leave Hideaway! I had a few hickups and staff were very responsive. One was an airconditioner that broke down, the staff quickly moved me to another similar seaside bure. The other was on my second visit when I had left an major electronic device behind in my hotel in Suva. Staff at Hideaway jumped in to contact the hotel in Suva, ensure the item would be transferred to Hideaway the same day. That was a huge relief. all in all, I would recommend Hideaway and I would stay there again should I ever be lucky enought to be in Fiji again."

"The Villa was clean!! Staff, so helpful & super friendly, from the security guard, receptionists, bar & restaurant staff & the caretakers. Family-friendly. Children were safe & they had lots of fun! Air-conditioning was not necessary at this time on account of how breezy it was."

"The bar staff and pool excellent for a cool dip. Very helpful and friendly staff for meals and room service. We found it to be a great a great family getaway. The grounds were well kept and maintained, with alot of fun to be had. A few drinks and a great game of golf. Walked up the beach to find white coral sand beaches with great snorkeling in the reef. Very safe"

"Nice and quiet location. My room had great view of the river. The swimming pool was clean and clear. Staff was kind and friendly to all guests. Continental breakfast was simple and full breakfast was good. Evening dinner was very good. Parking and facilities were easy to access."

"Staff was AMAZING, especially Simeli, Mereoni from Activities and Maggy at reception. You can learn so much about Fijian culture with the Fire Walkers, trip to the village, Kava ceremony, etc. The beach was beautiful and the rooms fantastic. The food was delicious and the hospitality of everyone went far and beyond. Vinaka!"

"We absolutely had the best time ever, the most gracious and easy stays we've ever experienced. The staff were loving, peaceful and so helpful. The staff at Kana Restaurant were the highlight of our trip, with always accommodating my son with his dietary needs. We absolutely were gutted to leave and would definitely visit here again. Thank you so much Outrigger for such an amazing and unforgettable experience."

"If you like having your own private beach and staff who knows your names then this is for you. We came with our two adult sons. The property is beautiful and Kim took care of all our day trips. This is a wonderful place to stay."

"The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the outside shower in our bure was FABULOUS! Menus provided a good selection and staff were so kind; they always remembered our names. If you want an active day, best plan on organizing your own activities. If all you want is to have is a lazy swim or go snorkeling, read a good book and have a nap, the is the place for you. Super chill, super relaxed. We didn't have our own transportation but were able to get to various destinations via the local bus, mini bus, taxi, and, of course, the express bus. Be prepared to be calm and flexible with waiting for your bus; sometimes they're full and you have to wait for the next one that, surprisingly, shows up quite quickly."

"The staff were wonderful and the place is beautiful. The gardens are very well maintained. There are activities everyday and music in the evenings. The people living in the village next door are very friendly and the children are very nice and respectful. The spa is wonderful. The chefs are friendly and answer any questions you may have about local food."
