"We had *such* a good time at the Hideaway. The location is beautiful - amazing coral straight off the shore and a lovely beach. The staff were fabulous, really helpful and fun. The resort is a bit older and not glamorous but the setting and the activities more than made up for it. The food was generally good, particularly the Japanese grill. Prepare to relax, to laugh a lot and to have a great holiday!"

"Don’t go expecting your standard cookie cutter resort experience! Relaxed vibe all round. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Outdoor ensuite bathrooms were great! Different dinner menu each day - with plenty of choice. No need to go off site for meals. Very family friendly. We found it easy to organise activities and getting around was simple. Nearest ATM supermarket 15 min drive up road."

"The view from our room and the restaurant over Lami Bay is beautiful. Our Executive King room was quiet and had the best mattress we’ve slept on during our 2 week holiday in Fiji. Anyone who likes a supportive mattress will love staying at the Novotel. "

"Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area).
