I appreciated the convenience and the proximity to the beach. Great if you have kids and there are many activities everyday.
DO NOT GO IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK PORTUGUESE. It is a region not frequented by Americans (as opposed to Rio or São Paulo) so there was only one fluent employee.
The pillows are uncomfortable so bring your own. The breakfast/lunch/dessert/fruit were good because they are traditional Brazilian cuisine but the themed dinners were usually foreign and not...

"The hotel is well located, but it was not recommended to walk around by locals, so Uber is the best choice when going to restaurants. The rooms need refurbishment, especially the bathroom. The old TV system is complicated to use. The rooms are noisy due to the main road in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good. "
