Santa Ana Department Family friendly Hotels

"Non attentive staff hotel and restaurant. We thought we booked for 3 people but they only had 2 for reservations. The clerk said it would be $15 a night then changed it to $25 a night then when I pulled out cash she changed it to $50 per night. Laundry service is $2 per garment. Would have cost us $30 for a load of laundry. No AC during the day No heater for night No hot water in shower, hotel provided soaps had broken handles, now weary that they will charge us for them. Constant Gurgling sounds from plumbing that can be heard from our beds. Nickel and dime you for everything including Having to pay to watch tv. When you sign in there’s a list of possible charges like $400 wine spills, $50 stained towel fee, $50 stained pillowcase fee, on and on. We were hesitant to touch or use anything so they could up charge us. Bed too soft for back support, Sagging in the middle Loud music in dining room and could not enjoy an intimate dinner or have a conversation. “Silverware was absolutely cheapest metal utensils I’ve ever used. Great plates and bowls but cheap utensils. Random wild dogs wandering in and out of the restaurant begging for food. No privacy, large windows without curtains or blinds, people in parking lot looking into our room. No swimming pool or hot tubs. I would not stay here again. "

"The resort was beautiful but I was expecting a nicer room. The resort was 5 star but room was 3 star at best. Great food, safe area, convenient and the pool was clean and clear. "

"We loved our time at this unique property. We stayed in the family room (which was well-appointed and very clean). The food was delightful and we enjoyed the welcome drinks at check-in since we're Expedia VIPs. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly attentive. Our kids loved the pool and kayaking on the lake. They also had a cute activity where the kids could pick veggies from their garden and they served them up for breakfast. Overall, I would give our stay 4.7 stars. Everything was perfect except for the fact that our room didn't have any hot water. I know that this is a common thing in El Salvador, but we didn't expect this considering the price for the family room. It was way too cold for our kids but we made it work since we only stayed for one night. If the staff are able to remedy this then we would have zero complaints. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!"

"The hotel was nice and so was the staff. Originally I had an issue with our original room but I spoke with the nice lady up front and she resolved my issue without any complications. Everyone at the hotel was also very nice and our room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was nice with a pool view and I enjoyed their fresh breakfast which was different every day and they had a lady cooking fresh eggs your way. Overall we had a good stay. "
