"Moon Palace Jamaica is a stunning resort — gorgeous pools, beautiful beach, excellent food and drinks, and warm attentive staff. We had a genuinely great time and would likely go back. That said, a couple of things need to be said honestly. Our arrival was rough. They mixed up our room and we waited over an hour to check in after a long day of travel. For a resort at this price point, that kind of disorganization is a poor way to welcome guests and left us frustrated before we’d even unpacked. We were also pulled into what turned out to be a lengthy, high-pressure timeshare sales presentation. It was aggressive and went well beyond what was implied when we agreed to it. Go in prepared to say no — firmly, and more than once. Once we got past those two things, the resort really did shine. The amenities, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience were everything we hoped for. Just be ready for a bumpy start and keep your guard up when the “resort orientation” invitation comes around.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​"
