"A very hospitable hotel"

"We had an overnight stay and the service was great and the breakfast was very good in a beautiful setting."

"Every year when I bring teams to Kigali we always stay at the Urban. The staff and accommodations are top notch and the Bistro restaurant is always a favorite. When you have large teams it is hard to make everyone happy, but the Urban and the Bistro are a hit!"

"The room is clean, staff very helpful. Location is noisy, many shops around which makes it quite noisy. For short stay it is ok."

"Rooms were great and the staff was amazing!"

"The property was not as advertised. The place appears a bit run-down and the rooms we stayed in had stained and partially broken toilet seats. We had to urgently make arrangements to secure alternative accommodation for our elderly mothers, which was extremely inconvenient. The hotel employee who was on duty was however very helpful and understanding, which we appreciated very well. He also contacted the hotel manager who was equally understanding and promised to process a refund for the room...

"They are currently shifting to the place across the street, so things are bit haphazard as they make the change. They did switch us to a different room when our key wasnt working. They also worked very hard to accomodate us in other ways. Overall good experience. "

"Best place, best staff, bwat food we will come again"

"Thumbs up to the staff who were so helpful and courteous. If you're looking for an affordable, quiet and decent place to stay, i would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms have a bit of a safari feel to them; the floors can get cold, so i would suggest carrying/wearing slippers. Make sure to request one of the rooms in front of the pool, the view is lovely at night. Also if you're looking for a ride to get you around Kigali, ask for Alphonse. The washrooms are starting to age a bit, but...

"The staff makes the experience here. They are very nice and eager to make your experience better. We had a great stay and the restaurants on the property had delicious food and drinks. "
