"My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The location of the Shore House was perfect. It was so nice to be able to sit outside and watch the ocean. The walk to the beach was a short one. The restaurant attached to the Shore House was top notch. Our room was clean and modern. The decor was reminiscent of an older era. It had everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Jen and Liz at the front desk. It felt like we were coming home each time we entered. They knew us by our names when they saw us. We will definitely stay at the Shore House again. We would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel is situated in the central part of the city and is close to popular sites. This is a historic hotel which does not allow to enjoy modern amenities. The lobby is nice but the elevators are not clean and appear to be old and ’tired’. The same applies to the guest rooms which are small. The closet is virtually nonexistent. The bathroom is also small, with hardly any space to hang towels and place toiletry kit. There is no full service restaurant on site. Given the relatively high price of the rooms, this hotel does not offer good value."
