Will summarise my 2-night stay: - Hour long delay with check-in, didn't contact me when room was ready even though they said the would. - Neighbours below me shagging their brains out throughout the night. Could hear EVERYTHING in explicit detail through the AC vent. Room definitely not sound proof - be warned! - Previous tenant of my room had set an alarm on the clock for 6.41am.... not ideal for a Sunday morning "sleep-in". - Customary for bed...

"We have not stayed there for a long time and are very pleasantly surprised by the improvements they've done! The Landscaping looked wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, the improvements that they did to the rooms was exceptional! Especially the wall sized storage units, the layout of the room, the many outlets for charging phones Etc, even the pool was excellent! Couldn't ask for anything better!"

"Second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time!"

"Room was not ready 2 hrs post check in. Staff did their best but my dinner reservations could not be met which was the reason for my visit dinner and a show. The bed was terribly uncomfortable felt very old. The “city” view of my balcony was of a shopping mall and the parking lot. The attached restaurant breakfast was excellent . Over all very disappointing."

"We booked for a weekend in June well in advance but they told us because we had booked through a third party site we didn’t get the room we expected but was assigned a very small ada accessible room. No closets and we had to request a mini fridge for the room. Our view was a brick wall. Given it was over $750 a night it was a very disappointing experience."

"The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The older gentleman at the front desk was very nasty. He was not hospitable and was always making snide comments."

"We were there the week following Memorial Day and the pool was not open/under renovations, the restaurant/bar was not open at all in the afternoon or evening when we arrived but was open for breakfast next day. The staff person was very nice and accommodating, but he was the only one there and seemed to be racing around from one location to another. Nice layout, and although we were expecting to be I. The Main hotel ( as we thought we booked) the sister hotel down the road where the pool was...

"Perfect location, very quiet with beautiful grands and wonderful view. Our room exceeded our expectations and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, so many choices, something for everyone. We very much enjoyed our stay and are very grateful to all the staff for their attention to our needs and kindness."

"Good location and not far from downtown Newport. We appreciated the free shuttle that went between the hotel and downtown. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the parking is free, and there is a nice patio and bonfire area. We would definitely stay there again!"

"This is a three star hotel that should be a best, a two star. On the surface it seems to have all the bells and whistles, however the general feel is that is is old and tired, and needs a really good scrub. Carpets that have seen better days, dust on air vents. The breakfast amenity is overpriced (pay per item( pre packaged gas station type food like breakfast sandwiches, juices and yogurt, seems not very popular with guests. Pros, the area we had our room was very quiet."

"Very expensive for an outdated, no amenities and very limited breakfast bar with expired milk. Very good location and friendly staff. Room was not very clean. Had a broken tile on the bathroom floor. The elastic in the sheets was worn from being old and wouldn’t stay on the king-size bed. Not sure I would go back to this hotel."
