"I booked this hotel due to it’s location to the train station and a music gig we were going to. It’s in a very busy part of town but makes everything easy to get to. Booked with some trepidation having read other reviews. It’s not the Ritz but the couple at the reception desk were very friendly and helped us with where we should head for lunch and transport for the gig that evening. "A welcoming hotel, with clean rooms and good food for eating during the early evening. Staff friendly and approachable. The rooms do have a kettle etc in them so no need to bring your own. The hotel is located on the edge of the city which you can either travel on the bus number 133 from Cologne station (rear Entrance) taxi out the front or walk which will take approx 20 minutes. City sightseeing bus stops 10 mins walk away by the Lindt chocolate Museum/ Factory starting from 10.30."
