"liked nothing about the hotel. front desk service is very aggressive and threatening to " will get you out of hotel" for complaining about their service. very uncomfortable attitude. very inconvenient to get to your room . AC mediocre, bathrooms horrible. food and restaurant staff were ok . most people we met in crete ( except for people at front desk) were pretty nice. no reason to stay there , plenty of other good hotels around "

"Tres bel hôtel avec un panorama merveilleux. Personnel du restaurant attentionné, buffets variés, chambre spacieuse toutefois logé au dessus du restaurant le bruit des chaises le matin et le soir est un gros point negatif. Pour la proximité des plages Bali n'est pas top..odeurs des égouts, plages bondées... Préférable de se rendre en direction de Reythymon et cela fait des kilomètres donc voiture indispensale"

"We had a nice visit to Aloni Villas in April, at the start of the season. First, the villa itself was very nice - new and maintained well. Each villa has a private pool and has pretty much everything you need. George is very pleasant and works hard to make it a nice stay. We visited in April, which was disadvantageous for a few reasons: 1. It was a little chilly. The heat pump units in the villas just aren't up to heating the place if it's cold. "We had the most incredible week at the villa. The owner was so friendly and informative about the area and was on hand to sort any issues that we had during our stay. Not that we really had any! The village was an unexpected gem. Very peaceful location with two fantastic restaurants to go to, within a couple of minutes walk. The icing on the cake was when they came and cleaned the villa half way through the week. Changed the sheets, everything. Such great service. You need a car to stay in...

"Very, very noisy place off the main street. Took 10 min to unlock the lockbox, there was no key on table, didn’t know which room was mine. Room big but nowhere to put things on, blinds fell off upon attempt to pull them up, impossible to stand straight in shower (in tub), leaves the entire bath flooded, no trash can, no mugs, lots of mosquitos, no light on back terrace. Nicely renovated (with unfitting very cheap Ikea stuff) charming old property, but only for the young indifferent party crowd....
