"My wife and I hopped on a ferry from Athens and arrived at 12:00 pm at the Apollo resort via shuttle van. "We had a wonderful visit to this gem of a hotel. I have been lucky to visit this hotel on previous occasions for work, so it was nice to come back for lesiure. "Nice hotel, good food. Only issue, you have to pay €10/sunbed/day at the hotel’s private beach. If you leave your stuff unattended for more than half an hour at the sunbeds by the pool they remove your stuff."

"Great location. The rooms in the hotel are so cute and stylish. The shower is wonderful. The beach is directly outside your door. The breakfast was adequate. I wish there were more options, however the restaurant food was good. The people who worked at the hotel and restaurant were very kind. We would stay here again. There is a bus stop a few yards away from the hotel and you can get to anywhere you want to go on Agistri in less than 20 minutes. "

"Fantastic Costos was super host and let us know all that we needed to know both accomodation and Hydra, + history. our room the patio was very small, no pics when I ordered far too small for a weeks stay, the shower was minimal and the water went over the whole floor so we had to mop up with towels. Costos upgrade our room to 2nd floor much better, but only for four nights free of charge, then we would have to go back to the patio. that was not happening so we ordered and payed for another...

"The hotel is unique and individually decorated and furnished. We had a large terrace with loungers, tables and chairs. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful. The cobbled street is steep to the hotel and could be slippery particularly when wet. Numerous bars and restaurants a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. I carried my heavy bad myself, having not understood how many steps there actually were and would not recommend it!
