"Beautiful beach resort Everything was above expectations"

"Beautiful property but needs some updating and improvements. No shade at the beach at all. Not enough chairs and loungers to sit on. We had to wait until 7:30 to check in. We were promised and viewed a room only to find it was given to someone else. Not acceptable. The breakfast is not at all what the voucher says. “Made to order” it was 1/5 at best. The bread was terrible. Actually the entire breakfast except the fruit and cereal was awful."

"Perk - pet friendly (however, no green spaces on or near the property for them to relieve themselves). Room - spacious yes, and comfortable beds. Our bathroom was quite dirty - the tub was black and soiled/stained. The fan was very loud and came on automatically with the light. The mini-fridge actually just froze everything - which spoiled the medication we needed to just keep cold. We tried adjusting the fridge temperature to no avail - it's actually just a mini-freezer. "We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was newly renovated and was fantastic. Location was great, just off Hwy 97 as you enter into Penticton. Steps away from a private ( quiet) Beach. In our room we had a fridge/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishes,kettle really anything you would need. There is a BBQ for use and plenty of outdoor seating. Ashley the manager was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful with some needs that we had wanted. I would definitely stay here...

"It seems like effort was made to keep the property up to date and clean but the customer service was lacking in my opinion! During check in one staff member constantly spoke with the gentleman checking me in while completing ignoring that he was with a customer (me). Meanwhile, even though I requested in the comment section of my Expedia booking that I’d like an early check in there was NO communication as to the availability nor cost of such a thing.
