"A very different hotel to stay in and highly recommended. Helpful staff, a good breakfast. Room top pool and a pleasant bar area. Close to Bilhao metro station and the market. Although most people would appreciate a beer on check-in, that wasn't really a beer, my urine is better quality. There are several excellent breweries in Porto, a beer from one of them supporting the local economy rather than a global company. I will stay again."

"The property has an amazing view but it’s a slight trek to the main shopping areas. I stayed here as part of my honeymoon and loved having the view and clean space. The only downside was housekeeping coming into our room when we had the do not disturb sign on the door. It was alarming to come back to see that our room was made up when we did not request it. The cups at the rooftop terrace were also a bit dirty."

"The hotel has an excellent staff, very gentle. The ubication is Porto is very convenient, close to Metro station. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is complete with a variety of meals. 100% RECOMMENDED."

"The hotel is a nice place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet spot. The housekeeping is over the top. They keep things clean and do it with friendly faces all the time. I’ve got a few issues with some upkeep. The pool is in the basement and really is not inviting. I had very little air conditioning in my room. Complained three times. The first time, no action taken. The second and third, I heard someone outside my room and it looked like they simply reset the A/C. No one ever verified...

"CONTRO COMFORT STANZA: porta della stanza non insonorizzata, ci siamo svegliati ogni mattina alle 8/8:30 a causa del via vai delle persone e del personale di servizio abbastanza rumoroso (fortunatamente sul piano soggiornavano poche persone altrimenti, anche la notte, sarebbe stato un problema), cuscini troppo morbidi, tende che non riescono ad oscurare a pieno la stanza (se come noi siete abituati a dormire al buio), soffione doccia troppo basso (sono 190, mi sono dovuto docciare a ginocchia...

"From the moment we walked in the hotel, we felt at home. The staff were very welcoming, the reception area smelt lovely and the rooms were spacious, modern and very clean with an excellent bathroom. Rooftop pool was really nice with plenty of space and fresh towels, and the gym very modern with good equipment. The only downside was the cost of spirits at the rooftop bar - €15+ for a gin and tonic seems excessive."

"This was definitely the nicest hotel we stayed at during our Spain and Portugal trip! The views were absolutely stunning! Staff was very helpful! The hotel has an elevator that saves a 10 minute walk down the mountain to the street below! Breakfast was great! Would love to go back and would stay there again! If staying in Porto, this is where you should stay!"

"Bedroom was quite small but we did get an actual double bed. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very helpful with directions and chilled wine for us."
