"This is purely a review of the reservations team, not the hotel itself or the amenities, etc. - I had to cancel my reservation last minute due to a family emergency. I had a non-refundable rate and did not expect a refund. However, after a request through Expedia the onsite hotel manager initially offered a refund minus one night's fee. Very generous - I thought wow! Then they reneged and the headache of incompetence began with their back office. Thankfully Expedia made things right...
