"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hesperia during our first trip to mainland Spain, where we were attending a wedding in the region. Before check-in, we were offered a great-value upgrade to a terrace room, and it exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to have the entire corner terrace to ourselves, with beautiful mountain views. It was definitely worth the upgrade! "El hotel está bonito y cómodo, su zona de restaurantes y bar muy agradable. En general nos gustó. Tuvimos un inconveniente con una puerta y de inmediato atendieron y solucionaron el problema con gran actitud y disposición de Jesús de mantenimiento,"

"Lovely location literally 100m from beach, but very disappointed on check in since the room we booked was advertised by a photo of a spacious corner room with three windows. The room we were given was cramped with one window. The safe locked our laptops permanently, requiring a locksmith the retrive the contents. Most staff were helpful and friendly, but not the manager. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone...

"El hotel aún utiliza llaves tradicionales para las habitaciones, con una plaquita que tiene el número y el nombre del hotel, lo cual no es muy seguro ni práctico comparado con las tarjetas modernas. Además, las paredes parecen bastante delgadas: se escuchaba todo lo que pasaba en la habitación de al lado. En general, el lugar necesita una renovación para estar a la altura de lo que se espera hoy en día."
