"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the excellent customer service. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience."

"We booked through Hotels.com. We wanted a hotel room for wedding weekend. We got married just up the way in Newcastle. We walked in the room it was 60 degrees! We had a patio, not a balcony. There was one dinky chair and no view other than shrubs and a tree. We messaged the hotel why we were staying and nothing was done for our stay. Now we weren’t expecting much, considering they host weddings & events, surely something, nothing, not even as we checked in. The tile on the wall in the shower needs a complete scrubbing, some tile grout is white and you can see where they just gave up. The room is dated with some amenities updated. Coffee was horrible, go to breakfast to get a better cup! We got the impression we are given the ok room. All staff we encountered gave the impression they would be anywhere but there… We selected this hotel for based not only the reviews but the location. We travel around the country and several parts of the world. It takes a lot for us to write any type of review. This hotel has a lot of potential, step it up Chalet."

"Solid spot for an overnight. Pretty clean, pretty nice, decent price. My only gripe is the plethora of both "THIS IS A SMOKE FREE PROPERTY" signs, coupled with roughly 25,356 cigarette butts outside the doors and a bit of smoke stench in the hallways. No shade on anyone for their choices, but people, for the love of the easter bunny, put your butts in an ashtray or the trash. It's gross. Staff was nice. The traveling high school basketball teams were....as expected, but like I said we were there for a night on a road trip, got up, and left. Breakfast was the usual collection of processed garbage they serve on any highway in the US. Pass."

"The staff, cleanliness and layout of the rooms, location, and amenities were all wonderful. There is no AC, but 2 large floor fans come with the room, so with open windows and few mosquitoes it was very comfortable. The kitchen has been updated and is very complete except there is no oven. There is a micro and two burner stove for cooking. Several other guests brought food to barbecue on one of the inn’s grills. We enjoyed eating outside on the spacious patio in front of our room overlooking the pools and lawn area. The only drawback to our stay was the sleeping arrangements… the bed is supposedly a queen but seemed more like a double. (It was very comfortable though!) The pull-out couch was wider than the bed but the mattress was very thin and not comfortable. I would stay here again, but would bring an air mattress if more than two people were staying. (No King beds or cots were available.)"
