"Just returned from 5 days at The Opal Sands. The resort is beautiful located right on the Gulf beach with its pure white sand and light green ocean plus a pool with many chairs and umbrellas. The inside is stunning with its decor, staff always friendly and willing to help with anything. Our room was large with living area, eating area, very well attained. Can't say enough about it, it's restaurant was also top notch. Stay here for sure!!"

"Ok there is a lot this resort does right but can improve on some things. The activities for the kids are endless! Our group from 3-12 loved the waterslide on the beach & pool with the DJ/kids games was a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful and it perfect for young kids!! One of the biggest downsides is the elevators. They take forever to come and are often packed when you get one. "Beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Loved our room with partial ocean views. We loved the beach and loved that we had chairs with umbrella at no extra charge. Drink and food service on the beach was excellent. We will definitely be making this a regular Florida vacation spot."

"Took a day trip to Clearwater to decompress before heading back home. Stayed at Sheraton Key Resort based off of availability and the pool/beach. The pool definitely looks better in pictures however it was nice! The beach is beautiful and they have a golf cart drive you the short distance. Chair rentals are not included in the stay. "Absolutely loved our time here! The views are gorgeous. Our suite was very clean and lots of room. The restaurant on site had great breakfast and a good lunch/dinner. Only “negative” would be the staffing at the on site restaurant. The staff had amazing attitudes but you could tell they were short staffed and tried their best to keep up with the busy times. Caused a little bit of delay with being seated and drinks and such. "

"Sign in was quick and not very informative. Room cleaning was to be every other day and our room was only cleaned 2days out of 7. Outdoor staff was wonderful, attentive and remembered your names. "We visited this hotel with our three boys under the age of ten. The views were amazing. It was set away from the busy downtown area which I loved. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Pool was perfect for the parents and the kids. Beach was easily accessible and just beautiful. We will absolutely be back!"

"The property is nice and well located by the beach. The food in the restaurant was very good and not pricey. The staff very helpful. The only thing as a resort they should provide their guests with umbrella and beach chairs in place not the guest having to carry it. because is a long way to carry all that to the beach and it gets heavy I always stayed in resorts that have everything set right in the beach."
