"While this property is being somewhat renovated, the hotel needed alot of work. The pool & hot tub were being renovated so you couldn't use them - this was NOT mentioned. The bathroom was dirty. The ceiling had big cracks in it. Someone painted the tub floor and the paint was chipping off. The water was turned off for over 2 hours - no one called or notified anyone. The water from the faucet and tub smelt like sulfur. The bed was hard. The "deluxe breakfast Buffet" consisted of a waffle...

"This is the best inexpensive motel in Ft. Stockton. The ice machine works. The place is clean. The bed is fine. It has been updated. Good internet. Great window coverings so you can sleep past daylight. Fridge and microwave. They offer a 3 cup, basket type filter, drip coffee maker, so you can bring some filters and your own coffee. I have stayed here twice. The only negative thing is the doors are tight and you have to exert some strength to get them open."
