"After you leave the main road to, literally, dive onto this hotel on a 45 or so degrees slope, you'll find yourself in a tiny combe crossed by the river flowing from the top of the main mountain: Sri Pada a.k.a. Adam's Peak. Legend has it that some vehicles are no longer able to climb it back and are consequently stuck there for ever. Why did you come here? Well, to climb that peak, of course! What else? The slope leading to the hotel and that you'll have to take in the reverse direction will...

"Unfortunately I can’t give this property a positive rating. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the room was large and clean but it was absolutely freezing, with no proper service for dinner, and the locations is down a beaten track that not even the most adventurous backpackers would want to venture on in the dark"
