"After I made the booking via Expedia, I got a welcome email from the hotel in French but the dates of my stay they mentioned where wrong (July 2019). I contacted them to rectify the dates and number of but they did not answer. I asked a colleague from the conference to check with the hotel and after I sent 2 email, the replied. Secondly, I asked for a low pilow and an electric but I never go them. I aked one of the receptionists to give me a ride to the airport like other guests but she refused telling me that they do not have trips to the airport although there was plent of time in-between the trips they were having. Thridly, the restaurant staff were very good. They offered me free Mauritanian tea. But when I ordered lunch upon my arrival they were very slow. They took a lot of time to prepare and bring me the food. Despite that, the food was delicious."

"I enjoyed this upscale hotel. I was the only one using the swimming pool I wish the pool was heated. Like the generous amount of food they give you if you have dinner here. I will stay here again it was quiet in my room I enjoyed my stay"

"Extremely helpful staff and excellent communication regarding Mauritanian customs, this place makes a great base camp for travelers arriving into Nouakchott before they go off into the desert."

"Cool hotel, main problem was that it is not possible to pay with card. The warning during the reservation stage was to "make payment locally", but I did not consider that this meant in cash. Fortunately had enough, just. Besides that, was a great hotel, helpful service, and good breakfast/snacks."
