"Tiny rooms, tiny beds, hard mattress, lots of damage to the rooms, missing skirtings, skirtings that fall off, broken lamps."

"Location is fantastic. 9* The room size is small clean which is alright. Noisy external tram / train noise. Later midngt, young guys with loud music hanging around. At 3am next door room had late ngts screaming laughing. Hard to sleep."

"My first trip to Norway and I hope to return but I will never stay at another Scandic hotel again. The Scandic Torget does not have enough tables in its restaurant. Two days running, I got up from my breakfast table to go and get another coffee, only to find that somebody had taken the table on my return and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. This is a problem particularly for solo travellers. What are we supposed to do? If we leave a bag, book or mobile phone to show the table is in use...

"The breakfast was excellent with a good variety , and ingredients were fresh, and all staff was very pleasant and super helpful. Kitchen workers were efficient, though at breakfast I unexpectedly chewed on a piece triangular sharp piece of plastics ( looked like from packaging ) in the ham that caused piercing pain on my gum temporarily . "It is a basic clean hotel. The concept is efficiently operated. 24/7 in house staff to address the needs. The location to Oslo s is only a mere 3min walk. Citybox oslo is kind enough to change my room facing noisy trams line. Subsequently, my room was facing void courtyard where i could hear chinese couple quarrel.at 4am, loud hp music, talkg till late at night from nearby windows and also my opp room. Depending on your luck, it could be pleasant. Pantry is available at ground floor."

"Nice spacious room and bathroom, much larger than other rooms of the same price I’ve stayed in, including two chairs and a small table, business desk and chair, and a small footstool at the end of the bed is nice when putting on shoes, etc. The breakfast was excellent. It’s also in a part of town that’s close to Bryggen, restaurants, shopping, and ferries.The ONLY downside is it’s a bit of a maze to find your room… elevator up, walk the hall, turn left up a couple more stairs, walk the...

"Really nice and cosy hotel. Amazing location. Super friendly staff. Can store luggage before check in and after check out. Bed is very comfortable, the rooms don't feel small at all. A little bit noisy from neighbouring rooms/corridors/street noises but it is to be expected when staying in a hotel within the city centre. "

"The hotel is close to the central train station and also a bus stop, making getting around convenient. Although the room was small it was comfortable. The staff was very kind. Best past was the fantastic breakfast buffet, with an assortment of breads (even gluten free options), and a spread of meats and cheeses. There was also fresh cut fruit and juices, plus bacon, eggs, oatmeal, and beans. And also yummy additions like chia pudding, muesli and herring. A great way to start the morning!"

"Great staff check in, only draw back is that there is no parking and it’s expensive in the city center itself but not their fault."
